Relief Pt. 2

I think that the detail in the eagle is very successful. The texture really pops and makes it realistic. The goal of this piece was to have your eye drawn to the eye of the eagle and the addition of the glass really does that! I feel like the paint on the piece really ruins the look of it. The piece also broke which makes the piece look incomplete. My piece originally was going to be just the tile, but then it broke. I over came that challenge by adding more tiles to create the rest of the eagle. The mini projects did help with my sculpting abilities and learning what each tool does. 

Artist inspired

The artist that inspired me was Wang Ruilin. He focuses on art based in Beijing China. He mainly uses what looks like a clay! What drew me in as a viewer was his attention to his detail. I personally love his work with animals! He puts the animals in cool positions which really adds a cool atmosphere.

Relief post: part one

I plan on making a eagle out of clay. In the sculpture the beak will be raised up coming out at you. The rest of the bird will be going back into the tile. The eye is the focal point so I plan to melt glass into the eye to really make that pop. This is what inspired me to try this piece http://pin.it/hgattq9

Exam part 3

This project was a bust, if I could do this again, I would! I liked the idea of this project, but things I would do differently would be I would make the letters bigger! I would paint in different colors, maybe blue and green! I would also take my time and blend the colors better! I would use a bigger canvas, because the word is too big for the canvas, and you can't see the fade as much! This project turned out okay, but it could turn out even better!

Original art

This piece of art is original, because there is no other art like it! I did get inspiration from other artist. Do to the fact that this project was artist inspired. I looked at Patrick star, and the thinker pose! I wanted to combine them because patrick doesn't think so it's ironic! My ideas were using Patrick's rock as the stone that the thinker sits on! To adding colors in his pants! Over all I love this work of art and I'm very proud of it!

We collaborate 

We started this project as something fun to do! We were not really inspired by anything! It started off with just splatter paint!! Then I decided to add an alien! Claire and Hannah gave us ideas on what to add! They told us to add more aliens. You came in and helped add the shading and very minor details that make the project look a lot better! Over all I love how this project turned out! 

Blog post

I just finished a stop motion animation project. I used pages in my book and had stick figures jumping out of a plane. They had a battle and at the end they both die. 

I'm currently working on a project.. Artist steal, I'm putting Patrick star in the thinker pose. Ironic right? The medium I'm going to be using is clay. Im not geed with clay so it will be a challenge.
