Chalk

This project I found to be really hard. I found the chalk to be a lot like the pastels but harder. I found it to be messy and kinda hard to keep neat. The strengths of my project are how I blended the colors and showed the translucents of the wrapper. But the weakness of this project was how the wrapper looked I think it would be better if I was neater and looked better. Overall I liked using the chalk but I will not choose chalk for my final because I found it hard to use.

Scientific

This project was very fun. I choose to do pencil because it's it is the eaisiest way to show contrast. I showed contrast in the way I shaded the the astronaut so that he would stand out from the moon. I think the most successful part of my artwork is the shading, it really makes the astronaut pop out and become the focal point. The exercises that we did we too repetitive and a bit non explanitive, but pretty easy. Overall I liked this project.

Scientific

This project was very exiting we had about 5 stages to this project what we did first was draw 2 pictures from our pictures from the internet and then picked the best picture then, found the best angle. I choose the tail just to be different and i thought it was hard. The hardest part was drawing the dots for the texture, the dots didnt turn out round so my craftsmenship needs work. I think that the overall idea is what brought this print togeather after we carved it we made five of them. I just like how it is an original idea and how well the chamealon stands out from the back ground.

Frog tongue

This was an extreamly fun project and i would love to do some thing like this again. i had alot of struggles with adding the color of the toung to the frog. I also had trouble adding the 3-d affect to the tongue. I had to restart a couple of times because of the different layers so if your doing this watch out for that. I think that for never doing this before i think that the tongue turned out pretty nice it has the color of the tongue and it looks quite disterbing to be quite honest. I think that this project was fun and we should do more.

Angry Pancake

I enjoyed this project very much. my struggls with this project were that i have never used photo shop before and it was very conveluted if you didnt know what you were doing. i liked this project because it isnt the normal thing to do in art, it was original. my favorite part was adding the piranahs mouth to the pancakes. The coolest part was were we use the tool to seperate the pancakes to make room for the mouth. Overall this was a really fun project, i liked the video and i would be more inclined to do more of photoshop projects in the furture.

As you can see this is a picture of a friend of mine. you can also tell that it wasnt very good looking. during this project i went to fast for my skill level and rushed the task. i made a careless mistake that was costly. i think this stencel project was really cool but i just wished mine turned out a little better. another thing is wait till your layer is dry, as you can see mine dripped to the right of the mouth. if i was to do this again i would add white and a little less black. i think that the mouth and up really makes up that its a face because without the purple you wouldnt have noticed that it was a face.
